Great Yarmouth Town Hall is the perfect back drop for your wedding ceremony or civil partnership with different rooms available to suit your day. From small and intimate to showcasing your love to everyone you know - we've got rooms to suit differing party sizes and budgets.

We have three licensed rooms available to hold your wedding ceremony. Wedding ceremonies need to be booked and paid for with Norfolk County Council by visiting the Celebrate in Norfolk (opens new window) site. As there are multiple room options, complete the enquiry form on their website, stating your preferred room, date and time. The ceremony team will contact you to confirm availability.

We would be happy to arrange a viewing of any of our rooms, Assembly Room, Supper Room or Rambouillet Room and help with any questions.

Assembly Room Ceremony

The Assembly Room is the largest of our licensed ceremony rooms.

The Assembly Room is the largest of our licensed ceremony rooms. Seating up to 200 guests, this stunning Room with its vaulted ceiling and oversized picture windows overlooks the quayside.

2024 Room hire for ceremony only:

Monday - Friday - £600 (excludes bank holidays)

Saturday - £900

Sunday and Bank Holidays - £1,200

Please note the registrar's fee is in addition to the room hire and is payable to Norfolk County Council.

Monday - Thursday - £485
Friday and Saturday - £585
Sunday or Bank Holiday - £685

If you wish to celebrate your entire day with us, the room hire fee for your ceremony in the Assembly Room is incorporated in the overall cost stated in the brochure.

Ceremony in Supper Room

Our tranquil Supper Room situated at top of the Town Hall's grand curving staircase is ideal for civil ceremonies with between 30 and 70* guests.

The room offers a light and airy space for couples to celebrate the start of their new life together.

We provide a Bluetooth speaker in the Supper Room which can play a CD or can be connected to a mobile device to provide music for your ceremony.

Fees for the Supper Room are payable to Norfolk County Council:

Monday - Thursday - £370
Friday - Saturday - £470

Ceremony in Rambouillet Room

The graceful Rambouillet Room is perfect for smaller ceremonies.

Named after Great Yarmouth's twin town, this lovely room has a stunning fireplace and full views over the former merchant houses along the historic quayside.

We provide a Bluetooth speaker in the Rambouillet Room which can play a CD or can be connected to a mobile device to provide music for your ceremony.

Fees for the Rambouillet Room are payable to Norfolk County Council:

Monday - Thursday - £335
Friday - Saturday - £435
