Great Yarmouth Witch Trials

In 1645, the town council sent for Matthew Hopkins, the infamous Witchfinder General. Come along and find out how a witch trial may have unfolded.
Two men and nine women were accused of allegedly being involved in witchcraft. They were brought before a court to find their fates.
Find out about those accused and what happened to them.
Please note - this is not a real life witch trial and is for the purpose of learning the history of those accused of witchcraft in the 1600s.
Taking place on Friday 18 September at 7pm. The trial will take approx. 1 hour.
Booking is essential and opens on Wednesday 26 August at 10am.
